 We are almost there with 84% complete! 

Hey, all you lovely shade seekers! 

We hope you are enjoying some sun where you are, summer is definitely on the way and soon our shipment will be too! 

In order to ship the correct colors and quantities, we need everyone to confirm and close their surveys 

If you need to review your information or pledge status, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page at https://Rail-ez.backerkit.com.

If you used your Facebook credentials to log in to your Kickstarter account, the BackerKit survey is sent to the email address you use for your Facebook account. If you have another email address that you prefer to use, please contact support at https:// rail-ez.backerkit.com/faq.

NOTE: Once the survey is locked you can still change your address if needed right up to July 15th, but after that, the addresses will be locked in so we can start uploading to the fulfillment center.

Most importantly, and what everyone wants to know!  Are we on track for production being finished? 

And the answer is YES we are on track to have the finished Rail-EZ units picked up in the next few weeks. The challenge, however,  is going to be shipping times from the factory to our DC's in USA and Canada as the transportation industry was hit pretty hard due to Covid19, but we are on it and will keep you updated as soon as we get confirmation on the vessel timing.

Hey all 

We hope you are getting some of the good weather and sunshine we are enjoying here in Vancouver Canada! We plan to spend a lot of time out on the deck over the next few weeks filming the "How-To" videos you've all been requesting 

• How to mount a TV to a railing using the Rail-EZ
• How to mount a table on the Rail-EZ
• How to create a temporary privacy blind using the Rail-EZ

We will let you know when we post these on our Youtube channel as well as our website, but we also plan to add even more unique ideas on our Facebook Group, which you are invited to join.  This group is going to be a community space for you to share your unique ideas on Rail-EZ uses and inspire others! And using it for just umbrella is fine too :)

Speaking of unique Ideas!

I wanted to have a nice string of lights on our deck one eve so "Drewgyver" (that's what I like to call him ;) came up with the idea of using a couple of simple extendable tent poles we had as the support for the lights. 

I've seen folks do some pretty complicated setups with permanently affixed Ubolts and heavy posts to string lights up on their deck, but what makes this so great is when I am done I just take the poles down then remove my Rail-EZ's ...OR leave them on the railing for the next day when I want to put my patio umbrellas up for shade :) 

Soon... you’ll receive an email from us with a special link to your BackerKit survey. 

It’s important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can since we need this information to fulfill your rewards. You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey link to respond.  Answer the questions about your Rail-EZ color preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like. 

You don’t have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available soon via email!
After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts. We've also been asked by a few backers if they can purchase more units on the survey so we made that option available as an add on for you!

Thank You for your trust and support! 

We have spent the last 2 years working to bring this idea to life and your support has helped make it happen! 

The Good news is since we've spent so much time doing the up front work, as soon as we were funded (in just 3 days!) we were able to start the production process moving! 

We received pictures as of yesterday from our manufacturing partners (see below) and they confirmed everything is on track and sign off samples are on the way!    

So... when do you get the survey and pick your color?  

We need to wait till Kickstarter does all it's magic, finalizing and verify backers' rewards and payments, this takes about 10 days to get through their system. We will get surveys out to everyone on or before May 8th, so please keep an eye out for those! Your survey will let you pick the color(s) of your Rail-EZ and verify your shipping address and even add an extra one on if you decide :) 

We will send an update to you as soon as we have sign off samples in hand but as of now, we are on schedule to ship from our factory by the end of May. 

With a fair wind (and no customs issue) your Rail-EZ will be in our DC by July 15th, and we will QUICKLY turn these around and get them right out to you as it will be smack in the middle of the HEAT OF SUMMER!

Ok... We've Had Lots of Time on Our Hands ...

Firstly, we hope you are staying safe and our thoughts are with you and your families at this time. 

We have been doing our part and staying home, but we've also been spending time coming up with new ways for you to make the most or your Rail-EZ this summer.     

We mounted binoculars to enjoy the daytime view,  but this could also work great for a telescope at night!  

Mount your camera on your railing and you can take some great shots! You can also turn it around and set the timer for group shots and selfies :)  

We know it's a digital world but we still love these weather vanes, they are kind of quaint and actually useful! 

A fan?? YES!!! We know we are going to get a lot of use out of this application this summer! 

We love our cozy covered couch but PHEW it gets hot in there! We just took a standard pedestal fan and stuck it in the Rail-EZ so now we can have cool breezes while lounging on a hot summer day.

Did you know Rail-EZ works on more than just railings!

It started out with just umbrellas on a railing... 

What started out as a useful device to help us temporarily mount our umbrella to different areas of our railing ended up being so much more!

It's wasn't long before we realized pretty much anything with a pole (up to 1.5 inches in diameter) could be mounted on a railing using Rail-EZ...TVs, clothes dryers, tables, tiki torches that's when things got really fun!! 

Then we found out Rail-EZ works on picnic tables too!

If you are heading out to park or have a picnic table in your backyard, your Rail-EZ is great to add additional shade, and at only 3.3 pounds it's easy to pack up to take camping!  

But wait there's more :) Rail-EZ also works on Fences! 

Yup, you got it, fences too! If you are struggling to get shade in specific areas of the backyard or If you have a platform deck but don't want to take up space with a bulky umbrella stand, Rail-EZ is the perfect solution! Especially since it is nonpermanent, removable and movable making it easy to move the umbrella with the sun.
