Hey everyone
Every unit is scheduled to go out the door! Depending on where you live you should be getting between Aug 1st and Aug 12th
Why such a big window of time? Well, we have to admit that there was a little “AMAzon DRAMA”.
As you know we choose to use Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment as our shipping service. The inventory arrived in the Dallas distribution center as we expected, what we didn’t expect was for Amazon to take 80% of it and start shipping it to 20 different distribution centers for faster shipping times to customers around the USA.
How thoughtful of them… However, this rendered the traveling inventory inaccessible until it arrives at the final distribution center.
All the orders are in the system and in “shipping” status, and in most cases, we upgraded the shipping to “Expedited” so you can get them as soon as possible!
Now we just have to wait for their “amazingly efficient algorithms” to send orders from the most logical place. From what we are seeing most people will get their Rail-EZ units between Aug 5-12th, with a few unusual addresses that said the 16th but they were few and far between.
Most of you should receive tracking via email but if you did not, please do not hesitate to email us at [email protected] and we will look into the system and get that for you.
In the meantime, we wanted to share a few pics from a few of our wonderful Canadian customers who have the Rail-EZ up and in action and are loving them!
Most everyone installed it with no issue, we did have a few folks have some challenges, but as soon as they watched the UNBOXING video and the INSTALLATION video the “got it” and installed no problem!
The Rail-EZ works best with a TIGHT fit so if you feel it is a bit loose just check out THIS VIDEO for tips.
Remember your Rail-EZ comes with TWO inserts so if your railing is bigger than 5 inches wide just switch to the larger insert - here is a quick video on how to do that

We were smiling and so giddy with anticipation we think the folks at the shipping depot must have thought we were on something! 🤣
We backed the tunk up to our Vancouver home office and started to unload our long-awaited first shipment of production!
All Canadian and International backers please keep an eye out for a shipping update and tracking information as they are leaving this week!
The boat landed and the Rail-EZ’s are now on the way to the distribution center (yeah!) We are waiting for a final ETA but are hopeful it will be there in about 10 days so we can turn it around and start shipping right away! We will update you as soon as we get word that it is in the building.
Until then we thought it would be good to do an UNBOXING video so you can see what your Rail-EZ will look like when you get it home.
As we showed you in the video, your Rail-EZ comes with a comprehensive set of instructions, however, Julia claims she never reads instructions... so we thought it might be good to also produce a short instructional video on how to custom fit your Rail-EZ when you first get it home :)
Remember this set up is a one-time thing, once you customize to fit your railing, to remove and move it all you need to do is “Pull the Pin”.
We also did a quick troubleshooting video, just in case you have any issues with fitting your Rail-EZ as a good TIGHT FIT is a KEY to the function of the system.
Lastly, we have been hard at work creating DIY videos for all the cool stuff we showed you in the Kickstarter campaign!

**NOTE ON FULFILLMENT***
Please don’t be alarmed if your Rail-EZ shows up in an Amazon brand shipping box. After careful consideration of the best option for cost and speed to ship to our backers, we decided to use the Amazon Multichannel Fulfillment network to ship all the orders to backers.
We ship our units to them in master cases and they take care of the picking, packing, and shipping to our backers. We feel good about the decision as they have a tried and true reliable system.

We want to once again, thank everyone for your incredible support on this project!
All the units left our manufacturing partners right on time, on June 8th the cargo was ready 🚛 to head to the port!
The inventory is going to one distribution center in the USA and one in Canada so our backers will not have to deal with cross-board duties issues.
The Canadian 🇨🇦 shipment is showing on time with an arrival in the 2nd week of July. We hope to get those units turned around and out the door on our original schedule of the 3rd week in July.
We just got word that the shipment bound for the USA 🇺🇸 had a port delay 🥺 and was put on a later vessel. The original ETA was July 21st and our hope was to turn it around and get it out the door the following week so all rewards were shipped to our backers before the end of July.
Unfortunately, the latest update is showing delivery to our USA 🇺🇸 Distribution centers by July 30th.
Please be assured we will turn the shipments around as fast as possible! We will keep you updated on the status should anything change.
In the meantime, we wanted to share this amazing "Legless" corner table that Andrew made using some plywood, a few short table legs, and 2 Rail-EZ systems! The best part is there is lots of legroom for a 6 foot 3 tall guy!
Ok... it's not really legless as we used some small legs to attach the table to the Rail-EZ :)

We are super excited to share these images of our first shipping carton and packages!
The shipment is scheduled to leave from our manufacturing partner early next week and should be at our domestic distribution centers by mid-July!
